The “Deluxe Work Bench Package” concept is designed to give you, the customer, a great deal on a monkey bar storage system.  It is for the person who “knows what they want.”  You may not need a large storage system in your garage.  You also may have a pretty good idea of how much you need. 

What is so great about the packages is that your Monkey Bar dealer comes to your garage with enough inventory to install any of the packages.  In other words, if you happen to choose one package and decide to do a different one, your dealer can take care of it.  As a bonus to you, the dealer will also organize your items on the Monkey Bars.  It is important for us to know that you have the right assortment of hooks for your Monkey Bar rack. 

When a “package” is ordered directly, the Monkey Bar Dealer does not have the additional cost of time and travel to determine what is needed in a garage, so the savings are passed on to you.

//Features

The 8’ wall mounted Deluxe Work Station is designed for those who want a large work space, twice that of the 4’work station.  The 8 foot Monkey Bar work bench is unlike other work benches or tables because it does not have framing on the floor.  You will find like everything else we design, the work bench is extremely sturdy and there is nothing on the floor in the way when cleaning the floor.  The work bench is installed at a custom ergonomically correct height for the user.  The brackets for the work bench have 10 holes to slide in multiple Monkey Bars for hanging tools under the bench.

The 16” Monkey Bar Shelf over the work bench is also custom installed for the height you need.  The 16” brackets have 6 holes for sliding in multiple Monkey Bars for hanging tools for easy access.  The shelf height is low enough to reach and remove containers as needed.

//Uses

The 8’ Work Bench Station has all the qualities you need in a large work station.  Tools or items that are used often hang away from the wall in front of you for easy access.  Your big tools and cases that are not used as often hang within reach under the bench.  Small individual supplies can be sorted in boxes or plastic totes on an upper shelf that is also within easy reach.  Here are a few examples of sorted or separated items in totes:  plumbing, electrical, cleaning, sprinkler, auto, gardening, yard, hobby, craft, and paint supplies.

//Specifications

Your dealer uses special tools and training to find electrical wires, and other utilities, so there is no concern, when the shelves are installed deep into the center of the 2”x 4” wood studs.  The shelves can be installed into brick or concrete.  The typical installation of a Monkey Bar Package can be completed in just 1 to 2 hours.  Here are some details: 

• Secured to the wall using 3/8”x 2-1/2” lag screws.
• Rated at 1,000 lbs. for every 4’ of shelf or work bench.
• The shelf is 16” deep and the work bench is 24” from the wall.
• Shelf material is ¾” melamine with white laminate on both sides.
• The work bench material is 1-1/8” MDF with rounded edges.
• The framework is made entirely of industrial steel.
• There is a 5/8” lip on the front of the shelf to keep things from sliding off.
• All metal parts are powder coated for a long lasting finish.
• Shelf and work bench are reinforced on the back side with supports attached to the studs between the main shelf brackets.
