A. That is like asking if you have ever bought something you regret. Q. How did Monkey Bars Start?
A. It started with one man wanting to reclaim his garage, he wanted to better utilize the space he had in the garage. What started out as a Saturday project, ended up as a national garage organizing company. We like to say we are, fixing the world, one garage at a time.

Q. How long has Monkey Bars been in business?
A. We have been in business since 2002. We opened our Salt Lake office in 2005 and in 2006 opened St. George, UT and Phoenix, AZ. Then started a more rapid growth in the spring of 2008. To see all of our locations click here.
Q. Is it true your product was tested by a local University and shattered the 1000 lbs every 4 ft, you tell your customers?

Q. How much does it cost?
A. The cost will vary because we do custom installs depending on your needs. We are generally half the cost of garage cabinets. Our average customer runs about $1,500.
Q. How is the Monkey Bar Storage System mounted to the wall?
A. After finding the stud in the wall, we use a 3 x 3/8 lag screw into the center of the stud.
Q. How long does a typical install take?
A. A typical garage install, will take about 4 hours.
Q. Do I need to be home during the install?
A. You can if you want... all we need is to have access to the garage when we begin.
Q. Will you organize my garage after you are done?
A. Yes, after we are done installing the Monkey Bar Garage Storage System we take the time to organize it for you.
Q. Do you have any kind of warranty for the product?
A. With every installed system we offer a Lifetime Warranty.
Q. Why is Monkey Bar Storage system better than other garage products?
A. The concept we promote is to separate long term storage from things you use more often. Most of the items you store for long periods of time are in containers, such as boxes or plastic totes. These bulky, long term containers are what take up the most storage space. These are the items you put on the Monkey Bar Shelf to free up space for things we use more often. The short term items are placed on the monkey bar rack for easy access.
Q. Can I install the Monkey Bar System myself?
A. We typically don't do this because our product is not packaged for this... we want to guarantee that we have installed the product correctly. We also take pride in organizing your garage for you. This is a great way for us to show you all the application you may not have thought of.

Protective Flooring

Q. How much does a Garage Floor cost?
A. Average floor = $1,800. Although, every garage floor is different; some require a lot of crack repair and prep work in order to turn out the quality that we expect. This is why an estimate from your local dealer is important to determine what it would take to make your floor look as nice as your kitchen floor.
Q. How will you prep my floor for your coating?
A. We repair any cracks, degrease oil spots, and then aggressively grind the entire surface with our concrete floor machines.
Q. Can you coat new concrete? And how long do I have to wait?
A. We can coat new concrete... it can't be new (less than 30 days old). We generally want the concrete to be at least 60 days old before an overlay.
Q. What material do you use for your garage floors?
A. We carry both epoxy and polyurea floor systems. The polyurea systems are the best products out there for application and durability.
Q. How do I clean my garage floor after you are done?
A. We recommend spraying your garage out often with a nozzle on your hose or using a pressure washer. Then squeegee any excess water out of the garage, we recommend not to use soap because it can leave a film that will make your floor look dull.
Q. How long will my floor last?
A. We recommend getting a new clear coat put on every 5 to 10 years. This will continually enhance the floor and keep it in top shape.
Q. What about hot tires or black marks from my tires?
A. Our products are resistant to hot tire marks or black marks. This has been proven in some of the hottest markets in the country.
